Description
XIPHIAS takes her name from the Greek word for swordfish, and she carries it with a quiet sort of confidence. She was built by Esterel and has been recently refitted under the direction of the designer Apostolos Molindris. The aim was to keep the character of a classic motor yacht while bringing everything aboard up to the standard a modern charter guest expects. She is a vessel with a point of view, rather than one more white hull among many.
Below, the layout suits a family or a group of friends who want room to themselves. The master suite runs the full width of the yacht on the lower deck, while the VIP cabin sits on the upper deck with plenty of daylight and a walk-in closet, an arrangement not often found on a yacht of her size. The remaining cabins are twins, balanced for children or friends, and every cabin has its own en suite. The interiors are light and calm, in a neutral palette, with large windows that keep the sea in view.
Outside, the decks are where the days tend to gather. Coffee on the aft deck in the morning, lunch laid out in the shade, a drink on the upper terrace as the light softens: there is space to do each of these without crowding. Zero Speed Stabilizers (CMC) keep her steady at anchor as well as underway, which matters more than it sounds when you are at a table, or trying to sleep, in a swell. Her size allows her to work into quieter bays and shallower anchorages.
For time in the water, the toy locker is well stocked: Seabob F5s, a Seadoo Spark 2UP iBR, a Tiwal sailing dinghy, a Jobe Aero Yarra SUP board, water skis, towables and an inflatable platform with swim ladder, along with diving and snorkelling equipment. Her Chris-Craft and Novamarine tenders carry guests ashore or into small coves. A crewed charter in Greek waters, island-hopping from one anchorage to the next, is what she is built for, with a crew known for warm and attentive service.
