WHY NOT is a motor yacht for those who like to cover water briskly and then stop entirely. Her turn of speed means a passage from one island to the next can be over well before lunch, leaving the rest of the day for a quiet bay, a long swim and nothing much else. Recently refitted, she offers comfortable cabins for a family or a small group of friends, with air-conditioning to keep them cool and restful after a day in the sun.

Once the anchor is down, the sea becomes the main attraction. A Seabob carries you along just beneath the surface in a smooth, quiet glide, while the Jet Ski, water ski and wakeboard are there for anyone after something livelier. Snorkelling equipment is aboard for exploring clear, rocky shallows close to the boat. When you would rather be on land for a while, the Williams Jet tender runs you ashore to a beach or a harbour front and collects you again when you are ready.

Evenings aboard settle into their own unhurried rhythm. The Jacuzzi is a pleasant place to sit as the light fades over the water, while the BBQ is lit for dinner out on deck. This is the particular ease of a crewed charter in Greece: her crew take care of the mooring, the meals and the toys, so the only decisions left to you are when to swim, where to eat and how long to linger over the last of the wine.

She is well equipped for days spent away from the marina. Starlink and onboard WiFi keep you connected when you need to be, and there is a smart TV in the saloon and in every cabin, along with a saloon stereo for music after dinner. A watermaker, generator and inverter allow her to stay comfortably at anchor in a secluded spot, which suits the pace of island-hopping in Greek waters, where the best part of the day is often simply staying put.
