The 41.15m SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL is a distinguished sailing schooner that perfectly blends classic heritage with modern comfort. Designed by Camper & Nicholsons and built between 1964–1966 by Richard Dunston (Hessle) Ltd., she was originally commissioned to compete in the Tall Ships Race under the patronage of the Duke of Edinburgh. Following a major refit in 2016, including a new teak deck, she now offers guests a rare opportunity to experience the glamour of a bygone era paired with contemporary amenities.
Accommodating up to 12 guests in six elegant staterooms, her layout includes a master and VIP cabin with queen-sized beds, two double cabins with sofas, one adjoining twin cabin in the bow, and two twin-bedded staterooms — each with en-suite facilities for privacy and comfort. Her inviting salon is richly appointed with teak, ash, wild cherry, and mahogany floors, creating a warm atmosphere reminiscent of the 1930s. Guests can relax in the cozy card-and-games nook, enjoy the comfortable lounge, or gather in the formal dining area, all complemented by modern entertainment systems including TV, DVD, stereo, Wi-Fi, and an array of water toys.
Outdoor spaces are equally impressive, with a bimini-sheltered foredeck ideal for open-air cocktails and dining, and a generous sunbathing area forward of the bridge.
