Description
Red Rose is an AICON motor yacht at home in the Ionian, where green islands lie close together and another quiet cove is rarely far off. She has the pace to make island-hopping feel effortless, so a morning swim and a long lunch ashore can happen in different bays without the day ever feeling hurried. Recently refitted, she is well suited to a family or a group of friends. Her crew look after the running of the boat, the meals and the small details, leaving guests with little to decide beyond where to drop anchor and when to swim.
Much of life aboard happens at the waterline. Her extended submersible swimming platform lowers into the sea, turning the stern into a gentle beach from which guests can step straight in. From there the choice is generous: a Seabob for gliding beneath the surface, a Seadoo Spark, water skis, Jobe SUPs, a Jobe Banana for laughter-filled runs behind the tender, an inflatable sofa for doing very little, and snorkel gear for clear Ionian water. The Zodiac Yachtline tender carries guests ashore to a waterside taverna or a beach the road never reaches, and the deck shower waits on their return.
On deck, the Jacuzzi becomes a natural gathering point as the light softens, while the BBQ brings dinner outdoors on warm evenings. A sun awning and Bimini offer shade through the brightest hours, and the Sonos sound system sets whatever mood the afternoon calls for. Her stabilisers work both underway and at anchor, which matters more than it might seem: a settled yacht means calmer lunches in an open bay, easier sleep on a breezy night and a more relaxed passage for anyone less sure of their sea legs.
Inside, the salon is designed for easy evenings, with a small bar area, a television, a stereo and hookups for guests' own devices, so a favourite playlist or film is never far away. Each cabin has its own television for quieter moments after a full day on the water. The Master Suite adds its own mini bar and espresso station, a welcome indulgence for an early coffee before the rest of the yacht stirs, or a nightcap in private once the anchorage has fallen still.
