Description
Project Steel is a motor yacht for people who like their days on the water busy and their evenings unhurried. She cruises in Greece, which suits the rhythm of a crewed charter here: a morning passage between islands, lunch at anchor in clear water, an afternoon spent swimming off the stern, and a quiet bay as the day closes. Refitted since her launch, she offers comfortable, well-kept accommodation for a family or a group of friends. Her crew handle the practicalities, so guests need only decide where to swim next.
Her toy store is the heart of her appeal. The Jet Ski and Sea Bob bring speed above and below the surface. Her tenders, a RIB and a dinghy, tow water skis sized for adults and for children, as well as a wakeboard, a kneeboard and a tube. Quieter moments are just as well served. There are kayaks for exploring the shoreline, a floating mat to lounge on and snorkel gear for looking beneath the surface. A fishing rod waits for anyone content to sit patiently for a bite.
On deck, the barbecue invites long lunches and relaxed dinners in the open air, and a deck shower rinses off the salt after a swim. Her audio system plays both inside and out, so the music follows guests from the saloon into the sun. Device hookups let everyone bring their own playlists. The water maker keeps fresh water plentiful between ports, and the ice maker means drinks stay properly cold through the warmest afternoon at anchor.
Indoors, the saloon has its own television and stereo, with satellite TV for the news or a match from home. WiFi keeps guests in touch when they wish to be, and a games console gives younger travellers something to look forward to after a day of skiing and kayaking. Hairdryers are provided aboard. She rewards an active, sociable group. She is lively from breakfast to sunset, then comfortable and easy once the anchor is down.
