PANDION

PANDION is a Heesen motor yacht whose lines tell you what she was built for. The superstructure is long, low and streamlined, and she carries herself with a presence that suits the Greek islands, where a yacht is often seen from a quay before she is boarded. A recent refit has brought her interiors up to date, and the result is a yacht that looks purposeful from the water and feels composed once you step aboard.

Inside, the décor is modern and the detailing considered. The saloon and living areas are generous, with room for a family or a group of friends to spread out without feeling on top of one another. Cabins are well appointed and kept in the same contemporary style, so the whole yacht reads as one coherent space rather than a series of rooms. It is an easy boat to settle into, whether you want company or a quiet corner with a book.

Speed is part of her character, and on a Greek charter it is put to practical use. Island-hopping becomes less a matter of distances and more a matter of choice: a lunchtime anchorage in one bay, a harbour dinner in another, or a long swim stop that does not cost you the evening. Her crew look after the details of each day, from the anchorage to the table, so you are free to follow the weather and your own inclinations.

The water toys are extensive and varied. There are jet skis and a Seabob for those who want pace in the water, kayaks and SUPs for quieter exploring, and waterskis, a kneeboard, a wakeboard, a banana and a tube for the family. Snorkelling equipment is aboard for the clearer coves, and the Novurania tender carries you ashore when you would rather stroll a village or find a beach than stay on deck.
