OAK

OAK is a Benetti motor yacht, and she has the calm, well-proportioned manner that the yard is known for. She has been refitted recently and is kept in careful condition, which shows in the finish throughout. Her volumes are generous for her size, so the saloon and decks feel open rather than crowded. She suits a family, a multigenerational party or a group of friends who would rather settle in than be impressed, and who value a boat that feels like a comfortable home from the first evening.

The interior is light and contemporary, done in soft tones with restrained, elegant finishes. It creates a quiet atmosphere in which you can read, talk or simply watch the coastline pass. The principal suite sits on the main deck and stretches across the whole width of the yacht, with the privacy, space and daylight that placement allows. The remaining cabins are arranged as a mix of doubles and twins, so children, grandparents and friends can each be settled sensibly, and the layout works well for mixed groups.

Greek waters are where she cruises, and a crewed charter here is mostly a matter of rhythm: a morning swim from a quiet anchorage, lunch in the shade, an unhurried passage to the next island or harbour. She moves smoothly and economically, without any sense of hurry. When she anchors, the water toys come out. There are waterskis for adults and children, a monoski, a wakeboard, a Hydroflyer, tubes, a SUP, an inflatable platform and sofa, snorkelling equipment, sea scooters from Iaqua and Sublue, and an electric scooter. A drone is on board for capturing the coast from above.

Ashore or afloat, the crew shape the day around you. A chef prepares meals to suit each party, and the service is attentive without being intrusive. The tender takes guests to a beach, a taverna quay or a village harbour, and back on board there is a Jacuzzi for the end of the afternoon and a stationary bike for anyone who likes to keep up a routine. The atmosphere is refined but unpretentious, and guests tend to settle into it quickly.
