Description
Nova is a Lagoon catamaran made for the easy rhythm of a crewed charter in Greek waters. Her twin hulls give a broad, steady platform. She is notably comfortable at sea for a yacht of her type, settling quietly at anchor and carrying her guests calmly from one island to the next. Her cruising grounds reach across Greece, taking in the Ionian, the Peloponnese, the Saronic, the Cyclades, the Dodecanese, the Sporades and Halkidiki. A charter can be shaped around the wind, the anchorages that appeal and the mood of the group.
Below, she welcomes a family or a group of friends in a master cabin, double cabins and a cabin with upper and lower bunks that suits children or younger guests. Full air conditioning keeps the cabins cool after a day in the sun, and each guest cabin has its own TV, DVD and audio system. The saloon doubles as a home cinema, with a TV, DVD player and BOSE sound for a film after dinner. WiFi and an Iridium satellite phone keep you in touch when you wish to be, and out of reach when you would rather not.
Much of life aboard happens outdoors. Teak underfoot in the aft cockpit and up on the flybridge, where the helm stations sit, gives a warm, sure surface for bare feet. Shade comes from a sun awning and a bimini, the BBQ lends itself to long lunches at anchor, and an outdoor audio system carries music across the deck. An ice maker keeps drinks cold through the afternoon. A deck shower and hot and cold showers on both transoms rinse away the salt, and a hydraulic gangway at the port stern makes stepping ashore at a quay effortless.
Swimming and play begin at the stern, where a hydraulic platform launches the RIB for trips to a beach or a quiet cove. The toys cover the whole party: water skis for adults and for kids, a wake board, a kneeboard and a tube to tow behind the tender, alongside a kayak, a paddle board, floating mats, snorkel gear and fishing rods for slower hours. Her crew handle the sailing with electric winches, Harken deck gear, a carbon boom, radar, AIS and Raymarine navigation, leaving guests free simply to enjoy the water.
