Lulu

Lulu is a newly launched sailing catamaran, made for the Ionian and for the unhurried rhythm of a crewed charter. Her twin hulls give her the steadiness that suits people who would rather spend the day in the water than think about the weather, and her broad decks leave room for everyone to find a corner of their own. The cabins are comfortable and quietly furnished, with an owner's suite for whoever claims it first. Her crew take care of the cooking, the anchoring and the small practicalities, leaving guests to decide only whether to swim before breakfast or after it.

When the anchor goes down in a quiet bay, the toys come out. A Seabob draws swimmers along beneath the surface with very little effort, while the SUP Paddle Board and Kayak suit slower mornings along the shoreline. For more energy there is a wakeboard, adult water skis, a tube and a Ringo, towed behind the Highfield Tender with Yamaha outboard, which also carries the party ashore for lunch at a taverna or an hour on a beach. Snorkeling equipment, a Jobe Water Hammock and Floating Mats are there for those content simply to drift.

Her flybridge is where the day often ends. Under the Bimini hard top it is a shaded place to read through the afternoon, and after dark it becomes an outdoor cinema, with a film playing over the water and the hills fading behind it. The Fusion Sound system carries music across the decks, and the salon has its own TV and stereo for quieter evenings inside. Starlink keeps everyone connected when they wish to be. There are board games, including UNO, cards and backgammon, elastic bands for a morning stretch, a sun awning and a deck shower for rinsing off after a swim.

The Ionian rewards a boat like this. Its islands are green and close together, the passages between them are short, and the water in its sheltered coves is clear enough to see the sand beneath the hull. A crewed catamaran lets you move gently from one anchorage to the next, stopping wherever a stretch of coast looks inviting, with lunch on deck and a swim never far away.
