Just Marie 2

Just Marie 2 is a twin-hulled motor yacht. She has the easy manners of a powered cruiser and the steadiness that two hulls bring, whether under way or riding at anchor. Her broad beam gives her decks and interiors far more room than her length would suggest. Recently refitted, she suits a family or a group of friends who want space of their own as much as time spent together. That makes her well matched to island-hopping in Greek waters: short hops between islands, a quiet bay for lunch and a settled night at anchor.

The owner's suite is the cabin to claim first. Beyond the bed there is a sitting area, separate wardrobes for a couple and a balcony set just above the water. A day can begin out there with coffee, close enough to the sea to slip in for a swim, and end there with a drink as the light fades. The guest cabins each have a queen-size bed and their own en-suite bathroom, so nobody aboard is given the lesser room. Windscoops draw air through on warm nights.

On deck, the bow is given over to loungers for anyone who wants to lie in the sun with nothing but open water ahead. At the stern, a table laid for dining in the open air serves long lunches and later suppers, with the BBQ and a wine cooler close at hand. The flybridge is where everyone tends to gather: a bar, a table for meals and plenty of sofa space, with a retractable shade and Bimini for the hottest hours. Inside, the salon offers Apple TV, Netflix and a Bose surround system.

Once the anchor is down, the hydraulic aft swimming platform lowers to the sea and the deck shower waits for the return. There is a Seabob, a wakeboard, water skis, a kneeboard, a tube, an inflatable towable couch, a paddleboard, snorkelling equipment and a fishing rod, and the Williams Jet Tender carries guests ashore to a harbour village or a beach. Gym equipment is aboard as well. Her crew have worked side by side for many years, and a good number of guests come back to sail with them again for service that is attentive yet unobtrusive.
