JO I

JO I is a Benetti motor yacht, recently refitted, and she is arranged for people who like their time afloat to be varied. Three decks give a family or a group of friends room to spread out: some will settle with a book in the shade, others will be at the stern before breakfast has been cleared. The interiors are warm and contemporary, with an easy, welcoming feel that suits long days on the water and slow evenings after them.

The sleeping arrangements are planned so that everyone has a place of their own to retreat to. The owner-style master suite is found at deck level just off the saloon, and a spacious VIP suite takes pride of place higher up, a layout that suits several generations travelling together or couples sharing a charter. Air conditioning runs throughout, and stabilisers keep her steady underway, so passages between anchorages are restful rather than something to endure.

Outdoors, the sundeck is the natural gathering point, with a bar, a Jacuzzi, generous sunpads and shaded places to lounge. Dining and seating areas on the other decks let the party divide or come together as the mood takes it. In the evening, the upper deck turns to cinema, with a projector and a classic-style jukebox. A fitness centre with full gym equipment keeps the more active guests content between swims.

The water is where JO I is most generous. A beach club opens at the water's edge, fully set up with chairs, umbrellas, sun beds and Bluetooth speakers, and the waterslide, jet skis, Seabob, e-foils and wing foil sit alongside kayaks, paddleboards, towables and wakeboards, with snorkelling, diving and fishing equipment too. Two tenders make it easy to go ashore. In Greek waters, her crew can shape days around island-hopping and quiet anchorages, with the table and the toys to follow.
