Description
FOUR JOYS is a Maiora M|38, a motor yacht of contemporary Italian design that spends her charters in Greek waters. Her layout suits a family or a group of friends who want comfort and room to spread out, with cabins that can be arranged as doubles. Air conditioning runs throughout, and the styling is light and unfussy, so the interior feels restful rather than showy. A professional crew looks after the running of the yacht, leaving guests free to set the rhythm of each day.
The master suite sits on the main deck and stretches across the entire width of the yacht, so the sea is in view from the bed. Two separate bathrooms, one for each of its occupants, give the suite the feel of a private apartment. It is the kind of space where you can take breakfast in your own time, with the water just beyond the glass, before joining the others on deck.
Her outdoor areas are where the yacht shows its character. The side wings fold down to extend the living space into an open-air terrace just above the surface, a pleasant place to sit with a coffee at anchor. A dedicated beach club makes getting into and out of the water simple, and the bow lounge offers a quieter spot for sunbathing or watching an island slide past. Stabilisers work both underway and at anchor, which is felt most on a calm evening in a sheltered bay.
For those who want something more active, the toy collection is generous: a jet ski, a Seabob F5, an inflatable SUP and a rigid SUP board, water skis, a wakeboard and two towables, plus fishing and snorkelling equipment. A tender serves the shore, and mountain bikes are carried for exploring on land. In Greek waters, island-hopping from one anchorage to the next, it all gives a crewed charter its variety without ever feeling crowded.
