EXPLORION

Explorion is a young catamaran built for the way Greece is best enjoyed: a different island most days, a quiet bay for lunch, and a crew who take care of everything else. Her cruising grounds take in the Aegean, the Ionian, the Saronic and the Sporades, so a charter aboard her can range from sheltered, wooded coves to longer passages beneath an open sky. She suits a family or a group of friends who would rather spend their time on the water than ashore, moving easily from one anchorage to the next.

Swimming is effortless from her lowering platform, which brings the stern down towards the water so that getting in and out is simple for every age. From there the choice is broad: a Seabob for gliding beneath the surface, water ski and wakeboard behind the Highfield Tender with Yamaha Engine, a paddleboard for the calm early hours, floating mats, a tube and a towable tube for the younger guests, snorkeling equipment for the clear shallows and a fishing rod for anyone with patience. The tender also runs guests ashore to a taverna or a beach.

When the light fades, the flybridge becomes an open-air cinema, with a film projected onto a large screen as the bay grows quiet around you. By day, removable sunshades on the flybridge and aft deck let guests choose between shade and sun as they please. Inside, the salon has a widescreen TV, satellite TV and a stereo with device hookups, while a large salon table folds and adjusts in height, turning from a proper dining table into something lower and more relaxed. A wine cooler and ice maker keep drinks cold through long afternoons.

Each cabin has its own TV and a separate soundbar, so guests can retreat for a film or music on their own terms, and WiFi keeps everyone connected when they wish to be. Solar panels on board add to the sense of a modern, thoughtfully equipped yacht. With a professional crew handling the passages, the meals and the tender runs, the days settle into an easy rhythm of morning swims, lunches at anchor and unhurried evenings on deck, which is very much the point of a crewed charter in Greek waters.
