ESTIA POSEIDON

ESTIA POSEIDON is a Falcon motor yacht that keeps to Greek waters, and she has been recently refitted. She is quick on passage, which suits the rhythm of island-hopping well: a slow breakfast at anchor, an easy run across open water, then a swim somewhere new before lunch. Her accommodation is sized for a family or a group of friends, and a dedicated crew looks after the details, from anchoring to the table, so that guests need only decide where the day should take them.

Her toy store is generous. From the swimming platform guests can take out the SeaDoo Jet-Ski, the Seabob or the paddleboard, or put on snorkelling equipment and explore the shallows. Those who like to be towed have water-skis for adults and children, a monoski, a wake board and a kneeboard, along with a tube and a towable sofa for the more sociable. Inflatable water toys, including donuts, beds and a small sofa, turn a quiet anchorage into an afternoon of play.

Out of the water, the sundeck and sunpads give plenty of room to stretch out between swims, while the foredeck seating offers a calmer corner with the sea ahead. The Highfield tender, with its Yamaha outboard, runs guests ashore to a taverna or a beach and pulls the skiers in between. An electrical scooter comes aboard too, useful for exploring a harbour town at your own pace once you have landed.

In the evening the yacht settles into something more domestic. WiFi keeps guests connected when they wish to be, and satellite TV with a soundbar and wireless rear surround sound system makes a film after dinner feel like home. It is this balance, a lively day on the water and a comfortable return aboard, that defines a crewed charter on ESTIA POSEIDON, with the Greek islands close at hand and the crew attending to the rest.
