DILARA

DILARA is a Benetti motor yacht, refitted recently, and she is built around space and quiet. Her cabins suit a family or a group of friends who each want real privacy: a second principal suite higher up in the yacht, with its own sitting area and dressing space, and further double cabins below. The master suite sits forward on the main deck and spans the full width of the yacht, with a study area and its own door to the bow, a good place for coffee before anyone else is awake.

Life aboard is centred on the sun deck, where a Jacuzzi, a bar and wide sun loungers sit under open sky. It works equally well for a long lunch, an afternoon with a book or sundowners as the anchorage turns gold. A lift links the guest decks, so moving between the sky deck and the water level is effortless for every age. Stabilisers that operate at anchor as well as underway keep the yacht settled when you are not moving.

For those who want to be active, the choice is wide. The toys include a SeaDoo, a Seabob, an Audi e-tron foil, paddle boards, kayaks, wakeboards, water skis and an Aquaglide aqua park, with snorkelling gear and a fishing rod for quieter mornings. Three tenders handle shore runs and excursions. Indoors, the gym and sauna give you a place to keep up a routine, and there is a baby swimming pool for the youngest guests.

She has cruised widely across the Mediterranean, including Greek waters, which suit a crewed charter well: short hops between islands, anchorages chosen for the weather and the mood, and a day that moves between swimming, the table and the shore as you prefer. Her long-serving crew, with chefs on board, look after the details so that itineraries and meals follow your lead rather than a fixed plan.
