BLISS

BLISS is a Heesen motor yacht, and the Dutch yard's reputation for careful engineering shows in the way she is built and the way she moves. Her lines are sporty and purposeful, and she has the pace to match them, so a longer hop between islands feels brisk rather than laboured. Stabilisation and bow thrusters keep her settled at anchor and easy to handle in tighter harbours, which suits a charter built around slipping from one Greek anchorage to the next.

She has been recently refitted, with the master cabin and the lower deck renewed, and the sense aboard is of a yacht kept up to a high standard rather than simply maintained. She sleeps a family or a group of friends in comfort across a generous layout, and the experienced crew look after the details of service, so guests can spend their days as they choose and leave the running of the yacht to others.

The water is the real attraction. A beach club and an inflatable platform with a sea pool let you swim in sheltered water directly from the yacht, while the toys cover most tastes: Seabob, jet skis, paddleboards, wakeboard, skis, windsurfing, snorkelling and diving equipment, with wetsuits and rash vests to hand. Ashore, the Technohull Explorer RIB and the Williams tender take guests to quiet coves and village quays, with a Pardo chase boat in support.

Evenings aboard have their own rhythm. The sauna and cold plunge sit alongside a massage table and a gym with free weights, TRX and mats, so a morning workout and an afternoon of recovery are easy to arrange. As the light fades, the outdoor cinema on the sky lounge makes a relaxed alternative to dinner ashore, and the sundeck, with its speakers and nightclub lights, turns easily to a livelier night under the stars.
