Description
Astoria is a sailing catamaran shaped around how a crewed charter in Greece tends to unfold: easy passages between islands, long lunches at anchor and evenings spent outdoors. Her galley-up layout puts the kitchen in the saloon itself, so the chef works within the life of the boat rather than below it. The saloon opens forward onto the foredeck and aft onto the cockpit, and daylight fills an interior that pairs contemporary lines with warm tones. The mood is relaxed rather than formal. Under sail she moves smoothly, a steady and comfortable platform for crossings from one anchorage to the next.
Much of the day is lived outside. The flybridge is the heart of her: a wide, open lounge high above the water where guests sunbathe, take a meal with a view all round, or gather for a drink as the light fades. In the aft cockpit, generous seating suits long, unhurried meals in the shade, and the BBQ brings the cooking out to join them. Forward, the foredeck offers sunbathing areas that feel set apart from the rest of the yacht, a quiet place to read with the breeze coming over the bows. A deck shower rinses off the salt after a swim.
Below, a master suite is joined by queen-bed guest cabins, each with its own en-suite bathroom, so everyone has privacy at the end of the day. She suits a family or a group of friends who want to share their days yet keep their own space. A captain, hostess and chef look after the yacht and her guests: meals prepared on board, cabins made up while you are ashore, and a captain who can shape each day around the wind, the anchorages and whatever the group feels like doing.
When the anchor goes down, the water becomes the playground. There is a Seabob for gliding beneath the surface, a Paddleboard for early mornings when the bay is still, and Snorkeling equipment for exploring clear shallows. The Stingher tender runs guests ashore and tows adult water skis, a wakeboard, a monoski, a tube and an inflatable couch, while a Fishing rod suits quieter hours off the stern. Back aboard after dark, there are Board games, a TV, a sound system and WiFi for evenings spent at anchor.
