Description
Allure is a Fountaine Pajot sailing catamaran, and her character comes from the way her decks are arranged. Up top, the flybridge is broad enough for the whole party to gather. It is the place for a morning coffee from the Nespresso machine, for watching the coastline slide past under sail, and for a drink as the light fades. Aft, a generous cockpit takes long lunches in the shade. On the foredeck, modular sunbeds and a hammock offer somewhere quieter for reading or dozing as she makes her way between islands.
Inside, the galley sits down in the hull, which leaves the saloon open and full of light, with lounge and dining flowing into one another. Each guest cabin is a double with a queen-size bed and its own en-suite bathroom. All are finished in a modern style and lit by daylight, so no couple draws the short straw. Hairdryers are provided, and WiFi keeps those who need it connected. The salon TV and stereo, along with a Fusion sound system, see to quieter evenings aboard.
Her crew have worked together for a long time, and it shows in the easy rhythm of a day aboard. Guests can expect attentive, warm service and carefully prepared meals, and many who have sailed with them choose to come back. A crewed catamaran suits Greek waters well. The crew handle the sailing, the anchoring and the provisioning, while you decide whether the afternoon calls for a swim stop, a walk ashore or simply staying put in a calm bay.
When she lies at anchor in the Aegean, the water becomes the main event. A Seabob pulls you along beneath the surface. For the more energetic there are water skis for adults and children, a wakeboard, a tube and an inflatable towable. Kayaks, SUP paddle boards and snorkeling gear suit calmer explorations of a rocky shoreline, and fishing gear is aboard for anyone who enjoys a line over the side. The Highfield tender runs guests to beaches, waterside tavernas and the jetty of whichever island you settle on for the evening.
