Alexandra II

Alexandra II is a sailing catamaran from Fountaine Pajot, still a young yacht, and she is built around the pleasure of being outdoors. Her flybridge is where most guests find themselves drifting: an open lounge with views all round and sunbathing beds at its aft end, as good for a slow afternoon with a book as for a drink while the light fades. Under sail she is lively and willing, and the broad, steady stance of a catamaran keeps her settled at anchor and comfortable on passage.

Forward, cushioned seating wraps around a Jacuzzi, a quiet corner from which to watch the water ahead. The cockpit aft is where the day tends to gather, with a long table for meals together, plenty of places to sit and an easy step down to the hydraulic swimming platform. Lowered to the sea, it becomes the natural place to slip in for a swim, launch the paddleboard or simply sit with your feet in the water before breakfast. A barbecue, deck shower, bimini and sun awning complete her outdoor living.

Every guest cabin has its own en-suite bathroom and a television. The master suite adds a desk and a generous bathroom, and can be entered from within or directly from the Jacuzzi lounge on the foredeck. The other cabins have queen beds, some reached from the aft deck. The saloon is light and welcoming, with a home cinema projector, salon TV and stereo for a film night, and board games including UNO, chess, backgammon, a connect board game and Mexican Train. With the galley on the lower deck, the living space above stays calm and uncluttered.

Days in Greek waters settle into an easy rhythm: a morning sail, lunch at anchor in a clear bay, an afternoon in the water. The toys suit every age, with water skis for adults and children, a wakeboard, tube, banana boat, towable bed and donut behind the Grand tender, alongside a kayak, sea scooter, snorkel gear, fishing gear and a Scubajet pro all-in-one kit. Her crew have worked together for a long while, and it shows in their discretion and warmth; many guests return to sail with them again. Starlink and WiFi keep you connected whenever you wish.
