Description

ADARA NEXT is a sailing catamaran fresh from the yard, and she feels it: clean contemporary lines, crisp finishes and the steady, level ride that twin hulls give at anchor and under way. Her living spaces flow between inside and out. A long lunch in the shade, an afternoon stretched out in the sun and drinks as the light fades over the water all happen within a few steps of one another. For island-hopping in Greek waters she is an easy companion, comfortable on a breezy crossing and settled in a quiet bay.

Each guest cabin has a queen bed and elegant, carefully considered finishes, giving everyone a calm private space to return to after a day on the water. She suits a family or a group of friends, and couples travelling together will find that the layout keeps company and privacy in good balance. In the saloon there is a television with satellite channels and a stereo. Board games, including backgammon and cards, fill slow evenings, and Starlink WiFi keeps you connected when you want to be. Hairdryers are aboard.

A professional crew looks after you: a captain, a chef, a stewardess and a deckhand. The chef cooks around your preferences with fresh, good ingredients, whether that means a light breakfast on deck, something grilled on the barbecue at lunchtime or a more considered dinner once the anchor is down. The captain reads the wind and the day before choosing where to stop. The rhythm of a crewed charter in Greece soon takes over: swim, eat, sail a little, swim again, with someone else attending to every detail.

The water is where she comes into her own. The Seabob takes you gliding beneath the surface, while water skis, a wakeboard and a tube are towed behind the Zar tender when you want something livelier. For quieter hours there are kayaks, a paddleboard and an inflatable canoe for nosing along the shoreline, snorkel gear for clear shallows, and a fishing rod for anyone content to wait. The tender also takes you ashore to explore, then brings you back to a boat where something cold is already waiting.
